What we collect

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and collects aggregated pageview data only (pages visited, referrer, browser/OS type, general location at country level). No personal profiles are built.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address to send you updates. We use a third-party form handler to process signups. Your email is not sold or shared with advertisers.

Affiliate links

Some links on DevPicks are affiliate links. When you click them, the vendor may set their own cookies or tracking pixels according to their privacy policy. We do not control third-party tracking on external sites.

Data retention

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained by Plausible according to their policy (typically 24 months of aggregated data). Contact emails are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@devpicks.dev. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe via the link in any email.

Children

DevPicks is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
